Terms and Conditions for Group Courses
In order to start a course at SET Idiomas, the student must have payed for the application fee and the first monthly fee of said course.
The means of payment are cash, credit card, debit card and online platforms. The payment must be registered with anticipation at the beginning of each month, between the 1st and the 10th day.
After the aforementioned dates, the school will charge 1% of daily interest in arrears. Incompliance will allow SET Idiomas to deny the student’s access to the class.
The price of the course does not include the lessons book, but includes additional material to practice during class.
The package bought by the student is non-transferable to another student.
Group courses can only start with a minimum of 5 students (and a maximum of 13 students).
If the student already payed for the application fee and for the first month or the entire semester, and the course doesn’t start because of the lack of paticipants or any other reason, the school will reimburse the expenses.
Given the exceptional case that SET Idiomas has to cancel a course that already started and has no other similar course to offer, the institution will agree a new alternative with the student, which duration in hours will be proportional to the fee payed for the original course. Both parties can also agree a different alternative with an additional cost.
If the student cancels or interrupts the course (even in she/he never attended a class), there will be no reimbursement.
If the student joins an ongoing course, he/she will pay for the application fee and for the ongoing month.
If the student leaves an ongoing course for a certain period, she/he will have to pay for the classes of said period when she/he rejoins.
If the student misses a group class and wants to arrange a new date for it, said class will be charged as an individual one.
For 2018, the following holidays will be respected:
February 12ve and 13th – Carnival.
March 24th – National Day of Memory and Justice.
March 29th and 30th – Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
April 2nd – Day of the Veterans and the fallen in Malvinas War.
April 30th – Tourist holiday.
May 1st – Labor Day
May 25th – Celebration of May´s Revolution.
June 20th – Death of General Manuel Belgrano
Juy 7th – Day of Córdoba´s Foundation.
July 9th – Day of the Independence.
August 20th – Death of General José de San Martín (the date can be modified)
October 15th – Day of the Respect to Cultural Diversity (the date can be modified)
November 19th – Day of National Sovereignty
December 8th – Day of the Immaculate Conception
December 24th – Tourist holiday
December 25th – Christmas
December 31st – Tourist holiday
On these dates, there won´t be classes. The lessons for those dates will not be re-scheduled,with the exception of those courses affected by tourist holidays.
As stated by Córdoba´s Education Ministry, there will not be classes during the month of July.
In case of urban bus strikes or special situations that put the students and staff´s safety at risk or make it difficult for them to arrive to the school, SET-Idiomas will contact the students at least two hours before class in order to cancel it. If the school doesn´t contact the students, the class will develop normally.
I declare that I read and comprehend all the terms and conditions stated, and, by signing, I commit to respect the rules of procedure. I also declare that the information I gave to the institution is complete.
Terms and conditions for Private and Semi-Private Courses
In order to start a course at SET Idiomas, the student must have payed for the application fee and the package bought. The means of payment are cash, credit card, debit card and online platforms.
The package bought by the student is non-transferable to another student. The timetable will be agreed with the student. It can be modified if the teacher and the student agree, given a prior notice to SET Idiomas administration.
The price of the course does not include the lessons book, but includes additional material to practice during class.
In order to cancel an individual class, the student must give a notice to SET Idiomas by phone (4280456) or e-mail (cursos@setdiomas.com.ar) the day before the class until 5 p.m. Otherwise, she/he will have to pay for the class.
In case of cancelation of an individual class and when the class takes place on monday mornings, the student must give a notice to SET Idiomas before the previous Friday at 5 p.m. Otherwise, she/he will have to pay for the class.
If the class takes place on monday after midday, the student can give a notice of the cancelation that same Monday until 10 p.m. and will be able to reschedule it.
Only two classes per month can be canceled. They can only be reschedule within the next 20 days. After that period, the class cannot be taken and there will be no reimbursement.

GENERALES
GENERAL
El estudiante es responsable de cumplir con los requisitos legales aplicables para ingresar o salir de la Argentina.
Students are responsible for observing the legal provisions applicable to enter and leave Argentina.
El precio de los servicios contratados no incluye gastos personales del estudiante durante su estadía en Argentina.
Personal expenses arising out of or related to the student´s stay in Argentina are not included in the price of the purchased services.
Todos los pagos que el estudiante deba abonar a SET IDIOMAS serán realizados únicamente por los medios que indique SET IDIOMAS. El precio total de los servicios contratados deberá cancelarse antes del inicio de su prestación.
Payments from the student to SET IDIOMAS will be made exclusively using the methods specified by SET IDIOMAS. The total amount for the requested services must be paid in full prior to their delivery.
Los cargos bancarios o financieros derivados de los pagos realizados por el estudiante a SET IDIOMAS correrán por cuenta del estudiante.
All banking and financial charges resulting from a payment made by the student to SET IDIOMAS will be at his/her expense.
En caso de no presentación o de cancelación/interrupción de los servicios contratados por cualquier razón, no habrá reembolso alguno. Los servicios ofrecidos por SET IDIOMAS no son transferibles a terceras personas bajo ninguna circunstancia.
In case of no-show or cancellation/interruption of a purchased service for whatever reason, no refund will be made. The services offered by SET IDIOMAS are not transferable to a third person in any circumstances.
Si, por cualquier razón y sin mediar aviso por escrito, el estudiante se presenta con posterioridad al día y horario acordados, los días perdidos de servicio no serán reprogramados ni reembolsados.
In the case of a delayed arrival for whatever reason without prior notice in writing, the missed services will not be rescheduled nor reimbursed.
El plazo por el cual se contrata un servicio constituye una unidad ―no admite interrupciones por ninguna razón― salvo que el estudiante haya solicitado a SET IDIOMAS la inclusión de uno o más períodos de pausa dentro de su duración total al momento de contratar.
The period over which a purchased service extends constitutes a unity (it cannot be interrupted and continued later for any reason) unless the student has arranged with SET IDIOMAS to take one or more breaks within its total duration when booking.
El estudiante deberá reemplazar los objetos o instalaciones dañados por su negligencia o uso indebido, o pagar por su reparación si esta opción fuera pertinente. Esta cláusula incluye (sin que esta lista sea exhaustiva) el mobiliario, electrodomésticos, computadoras y sus accesorios, y cualquier otra instalación/objeto disponible para el uso del estudiante en SET IDIOMAS, su organización anfitriona (programa de voluntariado) o alojamiento.
Students will pay for the replacement or repair, if applicable, of the damages caused to any facilities/goods available to them at SET IDIOMAS, their host´s residence or their host organization (volunteering program) as a result of negligent or inappropriate use. This clause includes, but is not limited to: furnishings, electrical appliances, and PCs and their accesories.
El estudiante se compromete a contratar un seguro de salud con cobertura internacional integral, válido desde su ingreso hasta su salida de la Argentina, y releva a SET IDIOMAS de toda responsabilidad por la atención médica recibida durante ese período y los gastos asociados a ella.
Students are responsible for purchasing a comprehensive international health insurance policy to cover health care costs during their visit to Argentina. Students release and forever discharge SET IDIOMAS from any and all liability whatsoever for medical attention and medical expenses during that period.
El estudiante asume total responsabilidad por los riesgos que puedan afectar de cualquier modo a su persona o sus pertenencias, ya sean previstos o imprevistos, durante su visita a la Argentina. Asimismo, el estudiante releva a SET IDIOMAS de toda responsabilidad por cualquier reclamo, pérdida o daño directo o indirecto vinculado con estas eventualidades.
Students personally assume all risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, for any harm, injury or damage that may befall them during their visit to Argentina. They are also fully responsible for their luggage and personal property entirely throughout their trip. Students release and forever discharge SET IDIOMAS from any and all liability whatsoever for any direct or consequential loss, injury or damage arising from any of the aforementioned situations.
De no mediar comunicación por escrito expresando su voluntad en contrario a info@learningspanish.com.ar, el estudiante autoriza a SET IDIOMAS a utilizar con fines educativos o promocionales fotografías, testimonios escritos y videos vinculados a su persona obtenidos durante su estadía en Argentina.
Unless a contrary intention is expressed in writing to info@learningspanish.com.ar, students give SET IDIOMAS permission to reproduce and use for educational or promotional purposes photographs, videos or written testimonies taken of them during their stay in Argentina.

Cursos de español
Spanish courses
SET IDIOMAS se compromete a ofrecer cursos grupales con un mínimo de 3 estudiantes del mismo nivel. Si el estudiante contrató un curso grupal y no es posible su apertura por falta del mínimo de participantes especificado, se le ofrecerá un curso alternativo, cuya duración en horas será proporcional al monto abonado por el curso original.
SET IDIOMAS offers group courses if there are at least 3 students enrolled with comparable levels of knowledge of the Spanish language. If the student booked a group course and it is not possible to open it because of insufficient enrollment, he/she will be offered an alternative course, which duration in hours will be proportional to the amount paid for the original course.
SET IDIOMAS permanecerá cerrado los días feriados indicados en su página web cada año, en cuyo caso las clases se recuperarán en días y horarios acordados con los estudiantes.
Classes will not be given at SET IDIOMAS on the holidays informed in its webpage yearly. In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled in agreement with the students.
Alojamiento
Accommodation
En caso de que no se cumplan las condiciones del servicio acordadas al momento de la contratación, SET IDIOMAS realizará el cambio del alojamiento asignado a solicitud del estudiante en forma gratuita. El cambio del alojamiento asignado podrá solicitarse por otras razones y por única vez abonando un cargo administrativo de 50 USD.
SET IDIOMAS will make new accommodation arrangements for free at student request in case the service conditions agreed when booking are not fulfilled. Changes of the lodging place, requested for reasons other than the specified before, will be made only once upon payment of an administrative fee of 50 USD.
Servicio de transfer
Transfer service
Los transfers serán reprogramados sin costo alguno con un preaviso enviado a info@learningspanish.com.ar hasta 24 horas antes del arribo previsto inicialmente. Si esta comunicación ocurriera en un plazo menor, el estudiante deberá abonar un nuevo transfer. El servicio de transfer tiene una tolerancia máxima de 2 horas ante demoras imprevistas en la llegada del vuelo o bus correspondiente. Pasado ese plazo, el servicio se considera prestado.
Transfer service rescheduling will be made for free with a 24-hour notice in writing (info@learningspanish.com.ar) as maximum. Otherwise, students will be charged a new transfer service. The transfer service will be considered as given after a maximum wait of 2 (two) hours in case of unexpected delays in the bus/flight arrival time.
